A VERY special performance!

Room 13 was very lucky to have Yuxi perform for us on her violin! We all enjoyed listening to her beautiful playing and she taught us what she knows about the violin. We were very impressed with the dedication and hard work she puts in to practising her violin! You are amazing Yuxi!

One Land Many Cultures!

In Room 13 we have been sharing our family histories and discovering the many places our parents, Grandparents and so on have traveled from to make New Zealand home! We created posters to share what we had learned about the cultures of these lands and our New Zealand culture. We each made a waka to represent the journeys that have brought us all together in one class - Room 13!

Chinese Dancing!

This morning Room 13 and Room 21 had the opportunity to learn some Chinese dancing. It was so much fun! Have a look at some of our excellent dance moves!

All About me Silhouettes

Room 13 talked about how we are all unique! We discussed how we all like different things and are all good at different things. We made these silhouettes to show our different interests. First we drew pictures then we dyed the background lots of different colours. Once the background had dried we went over our pictures in black so they would stand out!
